Community Update #4.3

St Patrick's Church
Fr Siby has informed us that over the last couple of days, vandals have broken the windows at the front of the church. The police have taken fingerprints. We encourage our community to phone the police if you notice anybody damaging the church or school grounds.

Virtual Lectures - The Catholic Contribution
The Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) are proud to present The Catholic Contribution, a virtual lecture series from Professor John Haldane.

The aim of this series is to understand the nature, development and self-understanding of Roman Catholicism and its contribution to the culture of Europe and beyond, not just historically but through to the present day and into the future.

The first lecture is entitled:  What does it mean to be Catholic ?

Attendance is free and open to all.

For further information and to register for The Catholic Contribution series, please visit macs.vic.edu.au/Haldane.

With today’s announcement today that masks will become mandatory in schools for Grade 3 and upwards, one of our generous families have made boxes of disposable masks available for purchase at a reduced price to members of the school community. Both CHILDREN’s and ADULT masks are available. Each box contains 50 disposable masks for $10.00 per box using the CDFPay App. These will be available to order from next Monday 11th October, and orders will close on Friday 15th October. Boxes will be delivered to school the following week, with more details to be provided about how to collect them. Orders will be limited to a maximum of 5 boxes per family (total) and we are exploring making a further order available in future.
