Prayer we shared at the Connection Evening
On Wednesday night we came together to launch our Learning Community site and for you as parents to meet and connect with our hardworking and talented St Patrick's staff. Thank you to the very large number of parents who were able to join us from 7:00-8:00 pm and support this event. Our hall was full to capacity!
The staff introduced themselves to our parents. This included our teachers, large leadership team and specialists teachers. |

Our DP Liz Hills addressed the Foundation parents |
You can view the slide presentation at this link on the principal's blog. The presentation includes some background to our vision going forward in 2017: Enagaged and motivated learners always faithful to our loving God.
The Learning Community site is evolving and developing to enable you to gain a greater insight into our teaching and learning practices. Please understand that this is a "work in progress site". Here is a link to the site.
Fr Barry's Farewell Mass Friday 17 February 9:10 am
Thanks to all of the families who have completed the special page for Fr Barry's farewell gift. This will be presented to Fr Barry at the end of mass. All families are welcome to join us to say goodbye and thank Fr Barry as he officially retires on Friday.
Playground Safety
It is wonderful to see so many children being active and riding to school. As a safety precaution, we ask that children walk beside their bicycles and scooters across the playground instead of riding them. Could we also ask that preschoolers don't ride in the playground too. Unfortunately we have already had one accident. Thanks very much for your support in helping to keep our children and families safe especially during our busy times before and after school.
St Patrick's School Family Mass Sunday 19 February 9am
We look forward to seeing as many of our families at mass on Sunday as possible. This will be Fr Paul's first mass in our parish and for our school. Thanks to those of you have let us know that you are joining us as we come together to celebrate the eucharist and give thanks to our loving God for the gifts of our children.
